This week’s Success Series interview is with Britty, a college drop out, serial day job quitter, and inspirational leader within the Breakaway Movement community.
Britty recently celebrated a $19k month in her online business - and has been able to relocate to Kauai on a whim! Throughout this interview, Britty shares why we're in the easiest time ever to become millionaires online, and how being patient, trying and failing (a lot of times) and mindfulness are the keys to success. She also shares her reasons why you shouldn’t allow outside voices to make you doubt what you know is true inside for you.
So, if you want to know Britty’s top secrets in how to live the life you truly want to live and creating your own 5-figure a month online marketing business, then read on…
FIRSTLY, WHO ARE YOU AND WHAT DO YOU DO?
My name is Britty, I'm 25, and I'm an online entrepreneur. I mainly work with Kangen water machines and a training platform for conscious individuals.
I'm a college drop out, serial day job quitter, and freedom junkie. Living a life aligned with my own freedom and expression is single handedly the most important thing to me in my life, so for me this meant pursuing the path of entrepreneurship and writing my life as my own story, the way I wanted it.
I struggled from the ages of 18 - 24 with finding what this could be and how to make this life of freedom happen for me, until I found what I do now.
WHAT IS YOUR WHY? (WHY DO YOU DO WHAT YOU DO?)
I've always felt like life was supposed to be lived how you wanted to live it, with the ability to go wherever and do whatever, whenever.
Working a day job for 40+ years and wasting 80,000 hours of my life working for someone else seemed so weird to me and I could never understand why people would do that.
I was absolutely determined to find a different way for myself, so I did!
WHAT DOES A TYPICAL DAY LOOK LIKE FOR YOU?
It totally depends on the day! Sometimes I choose to work more, sometimes I barely work.
I'm not really a routine person, so no two days look exactly the same, and I love it. Sometimes I wake up early and meditate right away, somedays I sit in bed on my laptop until noon. I just moved to Kauai and I'm still in quarantine, but lots of days are soon going to be spent at the beach and exploring the island.
WHY DID YOU CHOOSE ONLINE MARKETING?
We're in the easiest time ever to become millionaires online.
There is unlimited money potential, and my online community and I have the ability to help others, with a timeless, universally needed product that actually helps people AND the earth. We also have the ability to work from anywhere, at any time…
Need I say more?
IF YOU HAD ONE PIECE OF ADVICE TO GIVE TO SOMEONE WHO WAS INTERESTED IN STARTING UP, WHAT WOULD IT BE?
Be patient. Be in it for the long haul.
For most people, success doesn't happen overnight. It took me 6 years of trying and failing, trying and failing, trying and failing. I finally broke through but I never would've gotten there if I'd stopped and given up.
Just don't stop, and eventually, you will be successful.
WHAT HAS ONLINE MARKETING ALLOWED YOU TO DO?
Online marketing has allowed me to quit my day job, up and move to Kauai with 3-weeks notice, meet so many incredible people, make $19,000 in a single month, and so so many more incredible little things that I'd only ever dreamt about.

HOW DO YOU HANDLE ADVERSITY AND DOUBT?
Mindfulness is key to everything in my opinion.
If you can stop for long enough to take a deep breath, step out of your thoughts and see them not as you, but as the clouds passing by in your mind that you can choose not to attach to, then you give yourself the space and tools to choose a different story and to detach from the power that those thoughts have over you. Adversity, doubt, fear, etc - any low vibrational thought - is just a sign that you're not aligned with your inner being. It's nothing bad, it's actually guidance. It's direction. Being mindful of whatever is passing through you, and then being intentional with action to work through it - whether that's meditation, or mantras, or affirmations, or yoga, or reading a book, or listening to music, or crying it out, or talking to a friend - this is how you overcome any negative or unwanted thought pattern.
WHAT WOULD YOU SAY ARE THE TOP 3 SKILLS YOU NEED TO BECOME SUCCESSFUL?
Hmmm, it's really hard to narrow it down to 3.
But I would say: patience, resilience, and gratitude.
WHAT IS ONE PIECE OF ADVICE YOU WOULD GIVE TO YOUR YOUNGER SELF?
Don't let outside voices make you doubt what you know is true inside for you.
WHAT WAS THE LAST GIFT YOU GAVE TO SOMEONE?
Flowers, candles, bath salts, and a picture.
IF YOU WERE TO WRITE A BOOK ABOUT YOURSELF, WHAT WOULD YOU NAME IT?
I honestly have no idea! I couldn't think of a name on a whim, it'd be really intentional and well thought out.
